The Arise Student Ministry exists to engage with students where they are, share the good news of Jesus Christ with them, and connect them with other believers to encourage them on their journey to becoming more like Christ (Galatians 2:20-21).

We desire to see all students come to know and love the Lord and to follow Him faithfully. We work to accomplish this goal by seeking to create a safe environment where students can feel welcomed while hearing biblical truth and being around leaders who genuinely care about them and want to see them grow in their love for the Lord and obedience to Him. We want to partner with students and their families to provide teaching and resources that will help them grow in their grace and knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

We have several different types of programming that students can participate in:

1. Sunday School is offered for both middle and high school students in the student ministry corner of the building (Rooms 301-304). The lessons are discussion based and allow students to interact with the lesson in different ways.
2. We hold special events throughout the year, and these are fun events that students can invite friends to, and that allow students the chance to get to know their peers and adult sponsors better.
3. Students who come regularly are encouraged to participate in a small group with their peers. These are groups that meet regularly and create a space where students can do deeper than alternate types of programming. Students are paired with a trusted adult leader (who has had a background check) who ministers to these students and demonstrates the love of God by their actions and teaching.
4. Wednesday night programming is more casual and is for students who are at any point in their journey of knowing Jesus and becoming like Him. Our schedule for Wednesday night programming is below. We meet every week from 6:30-8pm unless it’s summer or we are on a break.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT MONTHLY SCHEDULE:

1st Week- MS/HS Separate

2nd Week- Combined Service w/ Student Worship Band

3rd Week- MS/HS Separate

4th/Final Week- Combined in Gym w/ Student-Led Devotion
